1. Project Rationale
To become a trusted force in empowering young people to engage in social work and lead community initiatives, SonTa Foundation sought out reputable programs that share this mission. The Chevening Vietnam Career Mentoring Programme (CVCM) is a high-quality career development initiative that provides an ideal environment for young people to grow personally and contribute meaningfully to society. Partnering with CVCM was thus a strategic move, allowing SonTa Foundation to reach and inspire more youth.
2. Activities and Implementation
SonTa Foundation supported CVCM’s career mentoring program over two consecutive seasons—Season 6 and Season 7.
Foundation representatives were also present at key events, including the Season 6 Closing Ceremony and the Season 7 Opening Ceremony, to celebrate past achievements and express their continued commitment to the program.

3. Strategic Partners
The success of the program was the result of collaboration among:
-
SonTa Foundation – Strategic funding partner
-
Chevening Vietnam Career Mentoring Programme (CVCM) – Program organizer
-
British Embassy in Vietnam – Supporting and accompanying institution
-
Mentors, Mentees, Alumni, and other sponsors – Key contributors to the program’s collective impact

4. Results and Impact
Both seasons were successfully implemented, providing a meaningful learning and growth environment for young people.
Through its sponsorship over two seasons, SonTa Foundation directly supported 87 university students (39 from Season 6 and 48 from Season 7), contributing to the growth of a purposeful and socially committed youth community.

5. Post-Program Commitment
SonTa Foundation looks forward to seeing the CVCM program continue to grow and thrive—building a passionate, service-oriented generation of young leaders. This partnership affirms the Foundation’s long-term commitment to investing in the potential of Vietnam’s youth.
