In early October 2020, central Vietnam suffered from historic floods. This catastrophe caused huge damages to the life of residents in four provinces Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam.
To support the local people timely, we prepared urgent aids to relieve the difficulties of the resident in Ba Don and Le Thuy town, the most affected areas in Quang Binh province. At the end of October, together with the local authority of Quang Binh province, we delivered commodities to help the resident to keep hygiene and to avoid diseases that occur during and post-flood.
Furthermore, by providing affected households with a financial aid package, SONTA Foundation contributed to the recovery process of the locals.
During this project, apart from the local authority, we also cooperated with three local charity groups in Quang Binh province. By the constructive spirit, SONTA Foundation hopes that our resources will not only be allocated right places but also spread the community spirit in every project.
