In the context of school violence incidents that were reported on social media, online communities are often focused on the responsibility of the school and families to address the issue. The question arises, "Who is responsible for resolving the problem, and where are NGOs in their efforts to reduce this issue?"
In episode 25, hosted by Truc Ly, Mr. Dinh Duc, and Ms. Hong An. We will discuss with two special guests who contributed their opinions and perspectives on this topic:
Mr. Hoàng Bảo Trương - a Master of Social Work and coordinator of programs aimed at enhancing students' capacity to cope with bullying and school violence, currently serving as a lecturer in the Social Work program at the Vietnam Women's Academy in Ho Chi Minh City. He has many years of experience working with NGOs and is a consultant on love, marriage, and family matters at Binh Duong Television. He is also the Secretary-General of the Soft Skills Training Council.
Ms. Đỗ Ngọc Đoan is currently working in the marketing field. Additionally, she is a social activist at the Book and Action Enterprise Corporation, aiming to support the development of reading habits for everyone.
NGOs can play a crucial role in preventing school violence by promoting anti-bullying policies, providing counseling and support services for students, and promoting positive relationships and conflict resolution skills among students. Schools, families, and NGOs need to work together to create a safe and healthy learning environment for students.
In conclusion, addressing school violence is a collective responsibility that requires collaboration from all stakeholders. By working together and implementing effective strategies, we can reduce the prevalence of school violence and promote a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
