Purpose of the Trip
As part of its annual tradition, SonTa Foundation organizes a teambuilding trip that also serves as a community engagement activity for volunteers. These trips aim to strengthen internal bonds while supporting local partners in delivering free English classes.
This year, the journey led to the EVG Community Library Project in Phong Thạnh Commune, one of the Foundation’s grassroots education partners.
Project Activities
🔹 Cultural and local experience:
Volunteers explored religious and cultural sites, and participated in local-style activities such as fishing and coconut picking — gaining a deeper understanding of local life.
🔹 Student engagement session:
The team hosted a fun-filled morning with over 50 students, combining English-learning games, physical activities, and meaningful gift-giving.
🔹 “Gifts That Matter – Learning with Joy 2023” initiative:
As part of this giving-back effort, SonTa Foundation coordinated community fundraising to provide:

2 refurbished laptops

Learning tools, reference books, and shoes

Musical instruments (Kalimba, Harmonica, Ukuleles…)
🔹 Support for the library:
SonTa Foundation donated 6 new textbook sets and an operational grant to help maintain the EVG Community Library.
